After working for over 13 years in a large law firm, I decided to start my own firm so that I could focus on issues and projects that were of interest to me, specifically assisting minority owned businesses and commercial real estate projects. My firm has also implemented an alternative fee structure that focuses on value based billing, and not billable hours. This allows us to work as partners with our clients and focus on attaining the desired objective without regard to the time expended on the tasks.

I am the Chairman of the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce. Our mission is to ensure that Black owned businesses have a full and fair opportunity to participate in the Billions of dollars that are to be spent on the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast communities. New Orleans is facing many challenges at this time, but they also provide great opportunities for those willing to work to be part of the solution.
