The Mission Capability Verification Center is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Patriot team at White Sands Missile Range, NM to support the mission test operations.
Job Description :
Performs and supports hardware operations, integration, test, and evaluation of equipment for test flight missions. Will provide system interface, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and verification to ensure effective operation of equipment and performance. Will assist in providing quick resolution of system problems/failures that occur during operations and assists with compilation, analysis, test setup and execution of all special tests. Support missions to include setup, coordination, data analysis and tracking of tactical software load configurations. Must be flexible to work other disciplines and travel to domestic locations to support program requirements.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Engineering Technology or related Engineering discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
* Two (2) years experience with hardware equipment to include power generation systems.
* Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters and spectrum analyzers. * Knowledge of hardware concepts, devices, RF systems, digital and analog design logic. * Ability to analyze and problem-solve, multi-task, troubleshooting, and reading/utilizing schematics, work in a team environment and meet deadlines .
Desired Qualifications:
* Knowledge of industry standard test equipment, engineering assessment, corrective actions and engineering modifications. * Knowledge of receivers, IF/RF and microwave systems, analog and digital recorders, timing systems, modulation theory, including FM, Bi-phase Modulation and PCM.
Other Requirements:
* Secret clearance or must obtain interim clearance within 30 days.
- Flexible to work long hours and travel (20%) to domestic locations to support program requirements.
- Work outdoors under various weather conditions.
- Work in remote and hazardous locations.
- Work in vicinity of energized equipment, radar radiation hazards, and unexploded ordnance.
