Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Lead IT Analyst - Data Management will provide data management products for assigned projects and areas and work with team to design, test, and install database management systems for use with applications. In this role, you will monitor database usage and ensure correct linkages with applications and to other data processing systems. You will also participate in the control, integrity, and accessibility of the database file structure of one or more databases with multiple concurrent users.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Project Leader for CAD / Multi-CAD data management within Energy PLM
  • Develop best practices and verification methods for CAD translations
  • Facilitate Customer focused Workouts, and develop Customer focused Multi-Generational System Plans for Energy PLM initiatives
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Technical Bachelors degree (Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical)
  • 7 years engineering design experience (component and feature based modeling)
  • 2 years CAD application experience (Unigraphics/NX, ProE, CATIA, Inventor)

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Driven by Customer satisfaction (6 Sigma, productivity, and on-time project delivery)
  • 5 years Power Generation Equipment component design and CAD modeling
  • Certified Greenbelt or Blackbelt, with relevant Engineering projects
  • DFSS Tools training completed (SDM, Quality Coach, Reliability etc.)
  • GE Advanced Course in Engineering
  • Technical Leadership Program or Edison Engineering graduate
