Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:
The IT Leader - Centers of Excellence will lead the existing resources within performance management as well as build an operationally excellent team in Michigan to support this rapidly growing area. In this role, you will establish and manage relationships with technical teams within Technology Infrastructure.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and manages relationships with technical teams within Technology Infrastructure
  • Lead performance management planning for instances supported
  • Responsible for program budget, resource allocation and planning within performance management to ensure delivery of business benefits
  • Responsible for vendor evaluation & integration of new products and services within performance management
  • Responsible for people management activities within performance management including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming
  • Act as subject matter expert for performance management in support of PST and project teams needs
  • Responsible for the completion of performance management activities by directing work of others as well as maintaining individual performance management responsibilities
  • Accountable for the performance of all Siebel and Oracle applications support in both the production and development environments
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technical discipline or 4 years of experience
  • Minimum 4 years of ERP performance or Oracle DBA performance management, which includes load testing, capacity planning, code tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience in global environments
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with process quality methodology
  • Minimum 8 years IT experience

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Knowledge of performance management tools such as Oracle OEM, Percise, load runner
  • Experience managing a team
  • Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
  • Oracle ERP or Siebel application performance management experience
    Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority
  • Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams
  • Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
  • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions
  • Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
  • Black Belt certified
  • MBA or equivalent
  • Leadership Training Program Experience (IMLP, OMLP, FMP)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Lean experience
    PMP / ITIL certified
