Location: Missouri-Saint Louis
Provides technical direction, guidance and support for architectural development that encompasses multiple technology disciplines, platforms and applications. Facilitates creation of architectural blueprints as documentation of design and systems integration. Ensures projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards and are implemented successfully. Coordinates communication to management and teams regarding project development, strategy and goals. May function as a Project Leader. Provides direction and mentoring for less experienced staff.

- Provides technical direction, guidance and support for architectural development that may encompass multiple technology disciplines, platforms and applications.
- Facilitates and delivers the creation of architectural documentation of design.
- Ensures projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards and are implemented successfully.
- Coordinates communication to management and teams regarding project development, strategy and goals.
- May function as a Project Leader.
- Provides direction and mentoring for less experienced staff.
- Participates in the design of data integration mapping and the optimization of data structures for use in business analytics and reporting.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ten or more years of experience across multiple technology disciplines
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience must include design & development leadership in .net environments.
- Experience should include design & development leadership in Java environments.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of highly available and highly recoverable application architectures and their implementation in a large and complex business IT enterprise.
- Experience must include strong command of SQL database products, preferably MS SQL Server 2005
- Experience in the quality assurance review of software development artifacts and in the evaluation of new or existing software products
- Strong knowledge and experiences in Object Oriented development and methodologies
- Working knowledge of UML and UML modeling tools (Rational Rose, Visio)
- Working knowledge of application integration tools (i.e.Messaage Oriented Middleware (TIBCO) and lower-level integration tools (SSIS))
- Working knowledge of ETL tools and their applications (Datastage, Informatica)
- Working understanding of the techniques used to analyze and specify data structures within an application system.
- Experience in creating logical and physical data models and in modeling tools.
- Experience in collaboration with an external DBA group
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project/team leadership skills
- Financial industry experience is a plus with Mortgage industry experience preferred
- Strong planning and organizational skills
