DaVita has an opening for People Service (HR) Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Partners strategically with VPs and the senior management team. Provides input, analysis, coordination and leadership on issues relative to employee relations and management coaching. Coaches executive and senior team members, by providing consultation and expert HR advice on a wide-range of HR topics (e.g., compensation, benefits, teammate relations, etc.) Participates in the development of department's/Division's long-range strategic plans.
* Provides People Services oversight of multiple locations and functions thereby ensuring consistency in approach and minimizing redundancies.
* Partners with Labor Relations in the development of union avoidance tactics.
* Develops and directs the rollout of corporate and company wide PS programs and initiatives designed to attract, retain, and engage teammates
* Directs and oversees People Service (HR) Manager and generalist activities by providing structure, guidance, feedback, development and support.
* Ensures that complementary resources and practices are applied with responsible geographic regions through the People Service Manager activities.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field with a minimum 10 years experience in Human Resources and at least five years of management experience.
* Strong working knowledge and demonstrated skills in leadership development, management coaching, employee counseling, and employee relations.
* Demonstrated effective leadership within a team environment. Must have served as a strategic business partner to senior management and executives.
* Strong presentation skills are needed.
* Healthcare experience and experience with recruitment are desirable.
