Department Description The Federal System Technology (FST) group is part of the US Federal Government Markets Division in Motorola's Government and Public Safety organization. The FST is responsible for the installation, maintenence and lifecycle support of Motorola's Land Mobile solutions for our customers.



Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
The individual selected for this postion will be responsible for assisting the customer with maintenence programs, subscriber programming, system design concepts, both pre and post sale phases of projects. The individual will work with the customer to provide training on equipment operations and programming, assist in writing test plans, maintenance procedures and operational plans. Work with the customer on migration plans and assist in developing new requirements.
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract ^^
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Individual must have a superior knoledge of Motorola conventional and Trunked radio systems, as well as consoles and subscriber equipment. This knowledge shall include maintenance and programming of equipment and interfacing equipment to third party devices.
