Pay Rate: 12.10 - 16.35
Job Description: Part time. 2 days per week.
Responsibilities: Assists with coordination of the security and safety programs to protect the facility from safety hazards, fire, theft, or vandalism. Reports safety and security hazards, responds to inquiries for the security, and physical assistance.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent including or supplemented by trade school courses. Military experience is helpful. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety. Valid Michigan Driver's License. Ability to work from sketches/penciled layouts and maintain records.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to drive. The employee must be able to lift 30 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Current unrestricted Michigan driver's license, automobile insurance, and available automobile. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens, hazardous materials.
