The Mission Capability Verification Center (MCVC) in White Sands Missile Range, NM is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Data Services team to support the programs.

Job Description:
Perform administrative tasks in support of the Data Services office of the various programs. Ge nerates tables, memorandas, general correspondence, shipping requests and other duties with speed and accuracy. Will interface with internal and external customers, operating non-tactical test and data reduction equipment, a cting as a Network Administrator for computer systems and performing audits on classified systems that support the program. This job will include coordinating with technical support staff on upgrades and changes to the information systems, performing c ustodian duties on multiple classified containers, and ensuring required markings of material. C oordinates and effectively organizes tasks in a closed area to ensure compliance with local, company and Defense Security Service (DSS) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) procedures and guidelines. P repare data packages for delivery to customer, maintain clearance access lists, perform backups of mission data, serve as a backup Information System Security Officer (ISSO), and control inventory of supplies required in the data room. P repare and run data reduction programs for engineers to perform system testing and analysis. In addition, will prepare, draft, and implement work instructions and provide training to users.

Required Education (including Major):



Associates Degree in Business Admin, Office Admin or other relevant discipline; or equivalency with education and experience.

Required Skills:

Five (5) years experience in a highly responsible office operations position working with NIPSOM Chapter 8 security guidelines and audit procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access .
- Ability to lift and carry 25+ lbs, work under pressure, meet short deadlines, work in a fast paced test and customer environment, and support the team across disciplines.
- Active secret clearance.

Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of UNIX and Windows environment.
* Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, networking, basic hardware repairs, and maintenance of computer equipment.
* Ability to organize, coordinate, results oriented, and work independently or in a team environment.
* Ability to analyze situations, take appropriate actions, and effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
* Basic knowledge of system administration, and computer skills with A+ or equivalent certification.
Other Requirements:

* Flexibility to work long hours and travel (20%) to domestic locations to support program requirements.
* Work outdoors under various weather conditions and in remote and hazardous locations.
* Work in vicinity of energized equipment, radar radiation hazards, and unexploded ordnance.
