Role Summary/Purpose:
The Finance Manager is responsible for providing operations finance leadership and demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad customer objectives. The role serves as a business partner to the operating team to drive initiatives, growth, business strategy and profitability. Areas of concentration include profit / loss statements, balance sheet, and expense analysis associated with a long-term service contract.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Work with operations team to drive profitable growth by providing analysis of results and identifying & tracking key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities
  • Develop actionable recommendations for the operating teams to drive strong results and manage costs
  • Ownership for developing weekly and quarterly estimates, as well as longer-term financial planning cycles
  • Ensure accurate and clear management reporting in monthly operating reviews with senior leaders
  • Gain deep contract knowledge to provide consultative expertise across functions
  • Preparation of annual price escalation
  • Deal directly with customer management regarding labor, materials, and facility expenses
  • Financial closing - monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year
  • Account reconciliations & general controllership
  • Cash & Accounts Receivable tracking
  • Invoicing & Accounts Payable processing
  • Inventory observation
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university/college with a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 7 years of financial work experience in positions of increasing responsibility

  • PC proficient w/ Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel and Access)
